TumourAn unidentified tumour attached to the body wall, and affecting no internal organs.

This fish is a male, so there may be a link to the gonads.

Ovarian TumourOvarian tumours in the latter stages show a distinct anal swelling not the fat round appearance of a fish carrying eggs
Cell TumourKnown as cell tumours, nothing is known of their origin.

They grow at a staggering rate. These pictures show a cell tumour which came from nothing to such a large size in only 6 weeks.

They are always fatal. Once a tumour shows itself, the fish is beyond treatment.Cell Tumour
